Job Summary
The HCP CPM Project Manager will oversee and drive project initiatives within the pharmaceutical domain, coordinating cross-functional teams and ensuring that project deliverables meet scope, timeline, and budget requirements.
This role involves the management of project lifecycle activities from initiation to closure, with a strong focus on pharmaceutical business processes, IT, and data governance.
Key Responsibilities Apply various project management methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, Kanban, and Hybrid, to define project scope, objectives, and outcomes. Develop estimated project timelines based on scope and manage stakeholder expectations internally and externally. Lead cross-functional teams, assessing and evaluating project performance for successful execution. Oversee day-to-day project activities, ensuring proactive communication and risk assessment, escalating issues to stakeholders when necessary. Ensure timely, within-scope, and budget-aligned project completion; facilitate project closure and document updates for standard procedures. Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree. Extensive project management experience, particularly within the pharmaceutical industry. Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical data and business processes, including familiarity with data sources like IQVIA, Veeva Compass, and Symphony. Proven experience managing cross-functional teams, especially in high-pressure environments. Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated ability to handle strategic initiatives autonomously, manage multiple workstreams, and influence without direct authority. Skills
Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities, capable of clearly conveying information to various teams and management levels. Expertise in risk management for timeline monitoring and issue mitigation throughout the project lifecycle. Proficiency in guiding teams toward project goals and navigating conflicts to reach mutually beneficial solutions.
