Position Description:
Manages & produces deliverables to support and define the Operational Readiness Activation & Transition (ORAT) and other related activities. Common tasks & deliverables may include Concept of Operations, Stakeholder Outreach, Technical Reports, Training Plans, Transition Plans, Workshops, Presentations, etc. Works collaboratively with multiple stakeholder groups to define the current state of operations; determine the future state of operations and the ambitions/opportunities offered by new facilities; diagnose any existing shortfalls and how these can be addressed; create plans for training of staff for new facilities/technologies; implement the ORAT process, evaluate potential impacts of new processes/technologies and how best to minimize them through varying tools and techniques.
Manage and coordinate the move and mobilization activities in collaboration with all team members, stakeholders and relevant agencies.
Manage space logistics and change initiatives, which include driving process improvements across LAWA projects and stakeholders.
Develop move and mobilization plans for major LAWA CIP projects.
Effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication.
Manage stakeholder communications and collaboration.
Participate in and support planning of the Airport Operational Readiness (AOR) Program.
Review the design documents and specifications of facilities and systems and assess operational requirements for select CIP projects.
Assist in the collection, review and modification of standard operating procedures.
Assist in developing orientation and familiarization training courses that cover generic facility spaces, functions and systems and individual stakeholder requirements.
Assist in developing trial scripts and ensure alignment of these by applicable system or function.
Coordinate operational readiness activities with applicable stakeholders.
Work closely with the AOR Subject Matter Experts on the execution of operational readiness assignments.
Submits weekly activity efforts and status reports to the AOR Manager.
Professional Experience Level/Other Qualifications
5-10 years of experience in an airport operational setting is required.
Experience in change management and optimization of project management processes.
Comprehensive knowledge of industry practices for airport systems.
Possess technical skills in project management, aviation operations, documentation, communications, and/or operational or technology testing.
Proven leadership and management capability is required.
Excellent written and oral communications skills.
Project-Specific Requirements/Notes
A minimum of two years’ experience at level within a similar role.
Proven ability to work under pressure.
Excellent analytical and decision-making skills.
Proven team management skills with effective communication across functions.
Fluent in written and spoken English.
Conduct business in a professional manner, keeping the client and projects at the forefront of every day’s priority.

Education/Training
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Construction, Planning or related fields; preferred with a concentration in coordination and logistics; or related field.
Registration/Certification
Certifications may include APQC, BPMI, IxDA; HFES, ODCP, ODCC, CMC, ACMP, CCMP, PMP.
Hardware/Software Knowledge
Word, Excel, Power Point, Prolog, Outlook, Office 365, Bluebeam, video training aides.
This position offers a hybrid/telework schedule. Telework - Monday and Friday. Onsite - Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
