We are currently seeking a highly motivated ORAT Consultant II located in Los Angeles, CA .
Required Education:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Construction, Planning, or related fields; preferred with a concentration in training and development or related field.
Required Qualifications:
In order to become a candidate, you must possess these skills and abilities:
5-10 years of experience in an airport operational setting is required.
Experience in change management and optimization of project management processes. Comprehensive knowledge of industry practices for airport systems.
Possess technical skills in project management, aviation operations, documentation, communications, and/or operational or technology testing.
Proven leadership and management capability is required.
Excellent written and oral communications skills.
Project-Specific Requirements/Notes :
A minimum of two years experience at level within a similar role. Proven ability to work under pressure.
Excellent analytical and decision-making skills.
Proven team management skills with e ective communication across functions. Fluent in written and spoken English.
Comprehensive knowledge of industry practices for airport systems.
Possess technical skills in project management, aviation operations, training, documentation, communications, and/or operational or technology testing. Proven leadership and management capability is required.
Conduct business in a professional manner, keeping the client and projects at the forefront of every days priority.

Responsibilities:
Position Overview
The successful candidate will manage and oversee the logistics, move & mobilization, planning, developing, coordination, and scheduling of all operational readiness activities for a variety of LAWAs CIP projects and its stakeholders.
The goal of the AOR program is to ensure that a diverse collection of equipment, systems and operational procedures are tried, tested and fully capable of delivering a smooth and e cient operation on opening day for airport facility activations.
Manage and coordinate the move and mobilization activities in collaboration with all team members, stakeholders and relevant agencies.
Manage space logistics and change initiatives, which include driving process improvements across LAWA projects and stakeholders.
Develop move and mobilization plans for major LAWA CIP projects.
E ectively collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure e ective communication. Manage stakeholder communications and collaboration.
Participate in and support planning of the Airport Operational Readiness (AOR) Program. Review the design documents and specications of facilities and systems and assess operational requirements for select CIP projects.
Assist in the collection, review and modication of standard operating procedures.
Assist in developing orientation and familiarization training courses that cover generic facility spaces, functions and systems and individual stakeholder requirements.
Assist in developing trial scripts and ensure alignment of these by applicable system or function.
Coordinate operational readiness activities with applicable stakeholders.
Work closely with the AOR Subject Matter Experts on the execution of operational readiness assignments.
Submits weekly activity e orts and status reports to the AOR Manager.
Preferred skills and abilities:
Hardware/Software Knowledge : Word, Excel, Power Point, Prolog, Outlook, O ce 365, Bluebeam, video training aides.
Salary:
- $132,300 - $143,000
Bonus Pay:
A bonus may be granted to employees depending on individual performance, employee utilization, attendance, tenure, and furtherance of other non-financial corporate goals; bonus opportunities are available at managements discretion.
