Office Furniture Installer
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Installer capable of using hand and power tools and reading work instructions or blueprints from day one without instruction. The role involves installing and assembling high-end office furniture in various office and healthcare settings. You will work onsite, report to a foreman, and collaborate in a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
Use hand and power tools to install and assemble high-end office furniture.
Read and follow work instructions and blueprints.
Assist in unloading trucks at the worksite.
Install and assemble furniture such as cubicles, tables, desks, filing cabinets, and chairs.
Work on electrical panels and parts/components, including AV equipment and TV installation.
Interact with clients if the worksite is not closed to day-to-day employees.
Drive your vehicle to worksites with the product once hired and trained.
Essential Skills
Proficiency with power tools and hand tools.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions.
Experience in mechanical assembly.
Competence in carpentry, installation, and construction.
Mechanical and general labor skills.
Familiarity with schematics.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
6+ months of mechanical assembly experience.
Experience with sub-assembly and assembly line work.
Mechanical inclination.
Ability to use power tools and hand tools effectively.
Capability to read and interpret schematics.
