Description

The Commercial Superintendent - Interior Construction - Reston, VA will be responsible for:

• Taking charge of on-site management for interior renovation and capital improvement projects, typically ranging from $200K to $3M.
• Supervising all construction phases, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and safety standards.
• Acting as the main point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and vendors on-site.
• Conducting quality control inspections and promptly resolve any issues that arise.
• Working closely with Project Managers to ensure smooth communication and successful project execution.
• Leveraging construction management software, including the transition from Viewpoint to Procore.

Profile

The Commercial Superintendent - Interior Construction - Reston, VA will have:

• Experience: 5+ years of construction experience, specifically in interior renovations or related projects.
• Problem Solver: Ability to anticipate challenges, propose solutions, and execute effectively.
• Leadership: Proven ability to take ownership of projects and lead diverse teams.
• Citizenship: U.S. citizen, with the ability to pass a background check (required for working with certain clients).
• Tech Savvy: Familiarity with construction management software (Viewpoint and/or Procore preferred).
• Soft Skills: Strong communication, organization, and adaptability skills.
