Job Description
We are on the lookout for a Business Systems Analyst to add to our team based in Raleigh, North Carolina. You will play a pivotal role in analyzing business and financial spreadsheets to recommend business decisions. You will also create dashboards with Power BI and reports.
Responsibilities:
• Analyze financial spreadsheets and develop dashboards and reports using Power BI.
• Configure and code technology systems while ensuring appropriate integration with dependent solutions.
• Provide operational support to troubleshoot, identify the root cause, and resolve product issues.
• Collaborate with Product Owner, Product Manager, and other Subject Matter Experts to identify and document business training materials.
• Understand and represent the needs of the end user in the software development environment.
• Manage tasks and adapt to a changing environment while maintaining a high attention to detail.
• Work closely with business functions to understand and map processes to functional and technical specifications.
• Upgrade and maintain existing technology systems.
• Work with external vendors and product support analysts to troubleshoot system issues and provide resolution.
• Utilize tools such as Microsoft Excel to perform various tasks and functions.
• Apply knowledge of Business Process Functions, Gap Analysis, AB Testing, Agile Scrum, and Backlog Grooming to execute responsibilities effectively.
Must have:
- Financial Analyst who can also work in Power BI. Financial background (finance, accounting, business) who also has data (Power BI)
- Analysis of financial spreadsheet
- Power BI – develop dashboards and reports.
- Excel skills
- Ability to think on your feet and pivot quickly
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Business Systems Analyst role or similar
- Strong understanding and experience with Business Systems
Nice to have:
- Accounting, Finance, or Business Degree.
- Snowflake (data is housed in Snowflake)
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Accounting, Finance or a related field.
