We are offering an engaging opportunity in the financial services industry based in Miami, Florida, 33126, United States. We are in search of an Entry-Level candidate to join our team. In this role, you will be tasked with the analysis of transactional behaviors, conducting due diligence on flagged transactions, and maintaining an up-to-date understanding of AML regulations. This opportunity offers a short term contract employment.

Responsibilities:

• Thoroughly investigate alerts from transaction monitoring systems to identify unusual patterns or suspicious activity.

• Analyze client transactional behavior, comparing it against expected norms and investigating any inconsistencies.

• Conduct diligent follow-ups on flagged transactions to ascertain their legitimacy.

• Document your findings in a clear and concise manner for review by senior compliance staff or regulatory bodies as necessary.

• Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary information related to customer due diligence (CDD) and enhanced due diligence (EDD).

• Keep up with current AML regulations and apply them effectively in everyday operations.

• Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated with new regulatory requirements and best practices in AML compliance.

• Work in close collaboration with the technology team to optimize transaction monitoring systems for peak performance.

• Proficiency in Excel with knowledge of Excel Formulas
