Plan, coordinate, and supervise industrial construction projects from inception to completion. Develop project timelines, schedules, and budgets to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with safety regulations. Address any issues or challenges that arise during the construction process, ensuring swift resolution. Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, providing regular updates on project status. Ensure adherence to all relevant building codes, standards, and regulations. Prepare and present project reports to senior management.

Responsibilities

Essential Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

2-10 years of experience as a Construction Project Manager, preferably with a focus on light industrial projects.

Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and processes.

Excellent project management and organizational skills.

Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering plans.

Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to project sites as required.

Work Environment

This position is based in a corporate office in Rosemont, which has a mid-sized 'family feel' team of 45 employees. The role will be 80%-90% office-based with occasional job-site visits around the Greater Chicagoland area and possibly out of state. The office setup includes cubicles for APM's, PE's, and PM's in the middle, with surrounding offices for Project Executives and Vice Presidents. The company is focused on building positive relationships with subcontractors and clients, offering a rewarding work environment with opportunities for professional development and career advancement.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43.26 - $62.50/hr.
