As we scale, we are currently seeking a detail-oriented Administrative / HR Manager to join our growing team. This position is integral to ensuring smooth administrative and HR operations, supporting employee relations, and maintaining organizational efficiency. Employment Type: Initially Part-Time, expected Full-Time within next 12 months
Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily administrative operations, ensuring efficiency and alignment with company goals. Manage onboarding and offboarding processes, creating a seamless experience for new hires and outgoing employees. Act as the primary point of contact and company liaison for internal and external stakeholders. Collaborate with the accounting department to reconcile company expenses and ensure financial accuracy. Coordinate and schedule company meetings, ensuring effective communication and preparation. Maintain and update company records and documentation in compliance with state regulations and policies. Manage employee travel logistics, including bookings and itinerary planning. Uphold strict confidentiality and security standards for all employee data and company information. HR Certifications:
SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) Certified Administrative Professional (CAP) for administrative expertise Experience:
Prior experience in a dual HR and administrative role or related fields (3-5 years preferred). Familiarity with small to medium-sized business operations or start-up environments. Industry Knowledge:
Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR compliance regulations. Experience with payroll and benefits administration. Familiarity with handling audits or maintaining compliance with insurance and safety standards. Technology Skills:
Proficiency with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) such as Insperity iSolve, Workday, ADP, or BambooHR. Experience with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Monday.com). Familiarity with document management and digital filing systems. Soft Skills:
Leadership Abilities:
Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor administrative or HR staff. Conflict resolution and mediation skills. Analytical Skills:
Ability to assess processes and propose improvements for operational efficiency. Experience with data-driven decision-making or HR metrics tracking (e.g., turnover, employee satisfaction). Interpersonal Skills:
Strong emotional intelligence (EQ) to handle employee relations tactfully. Exceptional ability to build rapport with employees and leadership at all levels. Problem-Solving:
