This Project Accountant will be responsible for creating and managing invoices for transportation projects under MDOT and SHA, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contractual terms. The role involves tracking time, material, and expenses related to the project and working closely with project managers to ensure that project milestones are met and invoices are correctly processed.

Create pivot tables, Vlookups, and SUMIF formulas in Excel.
Essential Skills
3+ years of experience creating invoices within an engineering firm.
3+ years of experience tracking time and materials for projects.
3+ years of experience working closely with project managers to ensure milestones are met.
3+ years of experience supporting projects under MDOT and SHA.
Proficiency in creating pivot tables, Vlookups, and SUMIF formulas in Excel.
Proficiency in Deltek, Oracle, BST, Netsuite, SAP, or other large ERP systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in accounting, invoicing, and billing within an engineering consulting firm.
Familiarity with MDOT (Maryland Department of Transportation) and SHA (State Highway Administration) projects.
Work Environment
The role includes a couple of months of onsite training. After that, the work schedule will be hybrid, with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote. There is also potential for a fully remote arrangement for the ideal candidate.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $37.00
