Position Information Hiring Manager: Vice President Department: Technology Solutions Department Overview The Technology Solutions Department is responsible for designing and delivering state of the art technology solutions that are designed to create efficiency, mitigate risk and grow revenue for the Firm. Technology Solutions is also responsible for defining, managing and executing a robust Cyber Security program following the NIST Cyber Security Framework. Technology Solutions focuses on technical excellence through innovative application designs, robust data integration and analytics, high availability infrastructure and gold level service for our key stakeholders with information security embedded throughout. Critical functions within Technology Solutions include Project Management, Vendor Management, Business Analysis, Enterprise Data Governance and Stewardship, Application Development and 3rd Party Integration, Strategic and Secure Infrastructure and Operations. The Technology Solutions Department collaborates closely with Firm leadership and business unit heads to develop plans in line with business objectives. Position Responsibilities The Golub Capital Technology Solutions Department is looking for a Business Intelligence Developer for the Enterprise Data & Technology Team dedicated to the design and development of database solutions, integration processes and analytical reports across a broad spectrum of data governance functions. The successful candidate must have experience in data profiling, data discovery, and data flow analysis, delivering data analytic solutions to end-users. The candidate must be able to gain a deep understanding of the relevant enterprise data models, operational systems, and enterprise data warehouse to help design and deliver impactful, strategic data and analytic technology solutions to support business reporting and data governance needs. This hands-on role requires critical thinking, enterprise vision, good technical skills, and the ability to execute and deliver. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Strong skills in SQL for querying databases and manipulating data. Perform data profiling, data mapping, and data integrity analysis Troubleshoot performance and data integrity issues Confidently participate in meetings and manage frequent communications with business analysts and stakeholders Ensure that all delivered solutions meet the highest quality standards and satisfy all specified business requirements through rigorous validation and testing Understand the design principle and best practice of dimensional data models Assist with Designing, implementing, and maintaining the data marts and analytical cubes Willing to learn Azure data platform and services, including Azure SQL Database, and Azure Data Factory Candidate Requirements Qualifications & Experience: Current Junior pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field. Proficiency in SQL, including writing complex queries and understanding database concepts. Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server, including database management and optimization. Knowledge of data modeling concepts, particularly with SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) Tabular models. Basic understanding of programming languages such as Python or C#, and experience with BI tools like Power BI or Excel for data Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to work with large datasets and derive insights.
