Job Description Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Trauma ICU Profession: RN Specialty: Trauma Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 36 hours guaranteed

Experience: - 1 year of experience required. - Prefer experience in Level 1 Trauma and cardiac care. If not, a combination of neuro and cardio experience will be considered.

License: - Current RN License issued by the state nursing board, or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC).

Certifications: - Current Basic Life Support and ACLS issued by the American Heart Association. - Prefer nurses with TNCC and TCRN certification.

Must-Have: - Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.

Description: Under general supervision, provide nursing care in a hospital setting to a variety of patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex. Essential responsibilities include assuming responsibility for an assigned group of patients, documenting patient responses to interventions and treatments, assisting physicians, obtaining and monitoring physiological data, administering medication, and delivering patient care competently. Interact with patients and families regarding care plans and hospital procedures, make referrals as needed, and delegate tasks to support staff. Additional general responsibilities include performing other duties as assigned.

Skills Required: - Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures. - Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services and apply nursing techniques. - Maintain good working relationships with colleagues. - Good verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors. - Basic computer skills.

Preferred Education: - Bachelor of Science in Nursing from a board-approved program.

Language Requirement: - English proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking.
