Job Description Job Title: Registered Nurse ICU Profession: RN Specialty: Trauma Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 36.00 Experience: 1 year License: RN License issued by the State Board of Nursing Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: TNCC TCRN, Level 1 Trauma and cardiac experience
Description: Under general supervision, provides nursing care in a hospital to a variety of patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex. Responsibilities include assuming care for a group of patients, documenting patient responses, assisting physicians, monitoring patient data, administering medication, and interacting with patients and families. Delegating tasks to support staff and maintaining good working relationships with colleagues. Preferred skills include knowledge of nursing techniques, good communication skills, and the ability to respond effectively to the cultural and language needs of patients and visitors. Required education includes an Associate's Degree in Nursing, with a preference for a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
