Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technician / PET CT Job Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology - Nuclear Medicine Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (10:30 AM - 7:00 PM) Guaranteed Hours: Facility allowed to call off one shift every two weeks Experience: Preferred 1 year License: SCRQSA - State License in Nuclear Medicine and Radiology or Computed Tomography Certifications: - BLS - NMTCB(N) or ARRT(N) - NMTCB(CT) or ARRT(R) or (CT) Must-Have: - Siemens equipment/scanner experience - Radiation badge provided by agency Job Description: - Perform nuclear medicine and PET CT procedures. - Work Monday to Friday, with potential Saturday shifts twice a month. - No floating between service lines or to sister facilities. - Work in a Level 1 and Level 2 trauma-preferred environment. - Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and use of equipment. - Participate in an emergency response team during hurricane season if required. - Wear teal top and black pants as uniform. - Utilize Epic for charting. - Complete modules pre-start, which are non-billable and included in the orientation hours. Additional Information: - Open to accommodating block schedule with prior approval. - Local candidates accepted on a case-by-case basis and must be within a 60-mile radius. - All requested time off must be submitted early for approval. Note: Flu vaccine required unless medical or religious exemptions are provided. Ensure travelers understand the commitment to emergency duties during hurricane seasons, especially from June to November.
