Job Title: PET Technologist Job Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Tech Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (06:30 - 15:00) Guaranteed Hours: Facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks Experience: 1 year preferred License: State License in Nuclear Medicine and Radiology or Computed Tomography Certifications: - BLS - NMTCB(N) or ARRT(N) - NMTCB(CT) or ARRT(R) or (CT) Must-Have: - Agency must supply a radiation badge - Experience with Siemens equipment/scanners Job Description: - Work in the PETCT department and/or mobile PETCT (on-site and stationary) - Flexible start times; shifts will vary between 6:30 AM to 10:00 AM, Monday to Friday - No on-call requirements - Possibility of working 1 or 2 Saturdays a month based on unit needs - Will not float between service lines or to sister facilities - Accepts first-time applicants - Preferred experience in Level 1 and II trauma facilities - Applicants should be ready for emergency response assignments during hurricane season (June through November) - Must wear teal top and black pants scrubs - Charting with Epic - Required to complete orientation of 16 hours and pre-start non-billable modules (average of 4 hours) - Flu Vaccine required, medical/religious exemptions accepted Please ensure all requested time off is noted at the time of submission.
