Job Title: PET Technologist Job Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Tech Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (09:00 - 17:30) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: 1 year required License: State License in Nuclear Medicine and Radiology or Computed Tomography Certifications: 1. BLS 2. NMTCB(N) or ARRT(N) 3. NMTCB(CT) or ARRT(R) or (CT) Must-Have: - Agency must supply radiation badge. Job Description: - Perform PETCT scans. - Work schedule includes Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. - No holidays required. - Weekend work required if the unit performs scans on Saturdays, up to twice a month. - Equipment experience with Siemens preferred. - Open to first-time applicants. - Experience in facilities with Level 1 and II trauma is preferred. - No floating between service lines or to sister facilities. Additional Information: - Teaching Hospital with Magnet status and Level 1 Trauma Center. - Use of Epic charting system. - Scrub color is teal top/black pants. - Flu vaccination is required, with medical/religious exemptions only. - Be prepared to join emergency response teams during hurricane season (June to November), particularly in August and September. - RTO must be included at the time of submission. - Modules average 4 hours and are completed pre-start. - Previous permanent staff must be separated for 1 year before returning as a traveler.
