Job Title: PET Technologist Job Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Tech Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (09:00 - 17:30) Guaranteed Hours: Facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks Experience: 1 year required; experience with Siemens equipment/scanner preferred License: State License in Nuclear Medicine and Radiology or Computed Tomography Certifications: - BLS - NMTCB(N) or ARRT(N) - NMTCB(CT) or ARRT(R) or (CT) Must-Have: Agency must supply a radiation badge Job Description: - Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with no holidays and no on-call requirements. - Be available to work Saturdays twice a month as the unit performs PETCT scans on these days. May work 1 or 2 Saturdays depending on unit needs. - No floating between service lines or to sister facilities. - The position is open to first-timers and involves work in a teaching hospital with Magnet and Level 1 Trauma designation. - Scrubs: Teal top/Black pants. - Epic charting experience preferred. - Travelers should be prepared to potentially join emergency response teams during hurricane season.
