A federally qualified health center in Central NJ is currently seeking a women's health Nurse Practitioner for a great full-time opportunity.

About the Opportunity:

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday
  • Hours: 8am to 5pm or 9am to 6pm

Responsibilities:

The NP will be responsible for:

  • Perform routine well-woman exams and use these exams to screen for conditions such as cervical cancer and breast abnormalities
  • Provide family planning services, including prescribing and fitting contraceptive methods, offering counseling on family planning options, and educating women about birth control choices
  • Provide prenatal care to pregnant women
  • Diagnose and treat various gynecological conditions, including menstrual disorders, urinary tract infections, and sexually transmitted infections
  • Manage the physical and emotional changes that come with menopause
  • Educate women about breast health and conduct breast exams to detect abnormalities
  • Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of related work experience
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Active NJS Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) license
  • Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills
  • Patient oriented
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Highly organized

Desired Skills:

  • Experience in LARC (IUD + Nexplanon) insertion and colposcopy procedure
