Job Description
We are seeking an experienced
Automation Engineer with DeltaV
experience to join our team for a greenfield pharmaceutical project. You will have a proven background in the pharmaceutical industry, extensive experience with Emerson DeltaV DCS systems, and a strong understanding of S88 batch control standards and GMP compliance. You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and commissioning the automation systems for the new facility, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Responsibilities:
System Design & Implementation:
Develop and configure DeltaV DCS systems for manufacturing, utility, and support processes, adhering to the S88 batch control standard. Design and develop detailed control system specifications, process graphics, and system architecture. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define automation requirements and functional specifications.
Project Execution:
Work closely with the project team to deliver automation solutions that align with project timelines and budgets. Lead FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing), SAT (Site Acceptance Testing), and commissioning activities for DeltaV systems. Ensure seamless integration of process equipment, instruments, and automation systems.
Requirements
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience working with DeltaV DCS in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry. Hands-on experience with S88 batch control and GMP-compliant systems is required. Experience with greenfield projects is highly preferred.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of GMP, FDA, and ISPE guidelines. Proficiency in creating and managing DeltaV configuration, including modules, phases, and recipes. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in automation and control systems. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
