Other Conditions: To begin approximately August 2025. Subject to position clearance and availability of funds; 9-month renewal dependent upon performance and availability of funds.
Duties and Responsibilities: Teach a broad range of cybersecurity courses in areas of high demand for the ICS Department including Penetration Testing, Operational Technology (OT) Cybersecurity, Industrial Control Systems (ICS) Security, Software Security, cloud computing, identity and authentication, system security, reverse engineering, and intersections between cybersecurity and artificial intelligence Instruct undergraduate level courses especially in the Security Sciences BA ICS and BS CS tracks Instruct other undergraduate level courses if needed Responsible for overseeing graduate teaching assistants and advising undergraduate students Mentor students for capstone projects Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in Computer Science or in a closely related field from a college or university of recognized standing. Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching undergraduate courses in general computer science, cybersecurity, and/or security science Ability to contribute to curriculum and course development in cybersecurity Strong written and oral communication skills Ability to teach effectively and to direct group discussions Desirable Qualifications: Evidence of at least 5 years of professional experience in cybersecurity Strong commitment to undergraduate cybersecurity education Professional Cyber Security Certification(s) Experience in teaching in multiple modalities (online, face to face, hybrid, etc).
