Master’s degree in Nursing from a college or university of recognized standing; Holds a current (or be eligible for) unrestricted RN license to practice in Hawai'i with national certification as a nurse practitioner; Holds a current (or be eligible for) unrestricted APRN license to practice in Hawaii; Minimum of three (3) years of full-time work experience in the area of advanced practice nursing specialty; Engaged in professional practice on a unit with a similar patient population and level of patient acuity where they will be assigned for the purpose of supervising advanced practice nursing students; Demonstrated ability to teach effectively, provide clinical supervision, provide student feedback, and direct group discussion; Demonstrated ability to effectively meet, interact and confer with others; Demonstrated competency in interdisciplinary team work and team science; Demonstrated competency in quality improvement projects or initiatives. Desirable Qualifications:

Doctoral degree in Nursing or related field from a college or university of recognized standing (Doctor of Nursing Practice preferred). Experience supervising nursing advanced practice practicum students. Coursework in curriculum development and health sciences education. Demonstrated competency in Evidence Based Practice and DNP Scholarly projects.
