Vice President, Innovation and Commercialization
will spearhead the development and implementation of innovative strategies to enhance patient care and operational efficiency. This role involves identifying, evaluating, and commercializing new technologies, processes, and services that align with Ardent Health's mission and strategic goals. Responsibilities
Develop and lead the innovation strategy to drive growth, improve patient outcomes, and enhance operational efficiency. Collaborate with senior leadership to align innovation initiatives with the overall strategic plan of Ardent Health. Identify emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in healthcare. Oversee the research, development, and implementation of innovative healthcare solutions. Evaluate potential new technologies and services for commercial viability. Develop and execute commercialization strategies for new products and services. Establish partnerships with external stakeholders, including technology companies, startups, and academic institutions, to leverage external innovation and accelerate commercialization. Lead cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and timely delivery of innovative solutions. Monitor project progress, manage budgets, and report on outcomes to senior leadership. Measure and analyze the impact of innovation initiatives on patient outcomes and operational performance. Present findings, recommendations, and progress reports to the Board of Directors and other key stakeholders.
Qualifications
Education & Experience: Master's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 10 years of experience in healthcare innovation, product development, or a related field. Leadership and team management experience. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Proven track record of successfully leading innovation initiatives and commercializing new technologies or services. Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels. In-depth knowledge of healthcare trends, technologies, and regulatory environments. Visionary and forward-thinking. Results-oriented with a focus on measurable outcomes. Collaborative and able to build strong relationships. Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
