Position: Litigation Paralegal

Location: Los Angeles, CA

Employee Status: Full-Time \u2013 Non-exempt

Schedule: 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday (Minimum of 4 days per week in-office. 90-day probationary period with 5 days in-office.)

Education: Minimum \u2013 Associate\u2019s Degree/Paralegal Certificate; Preferred \u2013 Bachelor\u2019s Degree

Experience: 5-7 years as a Litigation Paralegal

Salary Range: $75,000-$100,000/year; plus benefits

Responsibilities:

\u2022 Draft pleadings, correspondence, and discovery documents

\u2022 Organize and maintain files

\u2022 File documents with local, state, and federal courts (including e-filing)

\u2022 Schedule and summarize depositions

\u2022 Assist with trial preparation

\u2022 Review attorney billing

\u2022 Revise and calendar meetings and court dates

\u2022 Schedule travel

\u2022 Perform general administrative duties

Candidate Qualifications:

\u2022 5-7 years of experience in litigation; employment & labor experience preferred

\u2022 Paralegal certificate required; college, business school, or other relevant continuing education preferred

\u2022 Proficiency with Microsoft Word (including document versions, redlining, TOA, and TOC), Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint

\u2022 Experience with ProLaw and NetDocs (or similar document management systems) is a plus

\u2022 Strong oral and written communication skills

\u2022 Commitment to excellent customer service

\u2022 Ability to demonstrate flexibility and initiative

\u2022 Excellent organization and prioritization skills

\u2022 High level of accuracy in proofreading/editing

\u2022 Strong process orientation



Pay Details: $75,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year
