Description
Robert Half is partnering with a South Milwaukee area client in the recruiting for an AP Specialist. You will handle various accounting operations, invoice processing, account reconciliations, and maintain customer services in a detail-oriented manner.
This is a permanent placement opportunity with competitive benefits package including 4+ weeks of PTO.
Responsibilities:
- Administer and verify the processing of invoices, including data entry, document matching, and distribution of checks.
- Oversee vendor maintenance and process setups for form 1099.
- Manage the company's travel report processing and document verification in accordance with company policy, including per diems and travel advances.
- Communicate effectively with staff regarding travel reporting, providing guidance through issues and status updates.
- Perform monthly GL reconciliations and resolutions, posting related GL journal entries.
- Provide reconciliation support for company credit card statements and distribute annual audit reports to applicable funders and interested parties.
- Assist with bank deposit processing and other bank verification tasks.
Requirements
- 2+ years of accounting operations experience
- Experience with Accounts Payable (AP), ensuring timely and accurate processing of payments.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, with the ability to create and manage complex spreadsheets.
- Familiarity with Journal Entry Preparation, including recording financial transactions accurately.
- Proficiency in Expense Reporting, ensuring all business expenses are properly documented and accounted for.
