The
Senior HR Business Partner
is a strategic partner and extension of local and regional leadership team on business strategy. Advise, coach, and partner with business leaders and regional customer group in the development and implementation of effective, best-in-class, full-cycle Human Resources solutions and mobilize resources to deliver desired results. First point of contact for employee relations, training, leadership development. Partner with HR Operations and Legal teams. This role is critical in executing our people initiatives, providing great internal customer support, and driving HR functional/strategic excellence and process improvement. We encourage candidates with lived experience to apply. This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule. The successful candidate will have an office presence in San Francisco and Sacramento (alternating or as business needs require). Pay:
$110,000-115,000/salary DOE 15 days of earned PTO your first year, 12 company holidays + 2 floating holidays. Early close Fridays - 3 paid hours off early each Friday. Health, dental (adult and child orthodontia included), vision, and pet insurance. Employer paid life insurance. 403b + match, paid volunteer time, and more. Duties: Lead strategic solutions to address talent, organization, and culture implications to business model or strategy. Partner with leadership in organizational design, development, and change management focused on implementation of business strategy. Ensure compliance with State and Federal employment laws. Stay informed regarding business challenges, opportunities, strategic direction, industry, and competitive environment. Assess needs, analyze workforce trends for changes within the region, identify opportunities for improvement and develop actionable insights. Partner with leadership to strategize department staffing needs and structure. Collaborate with recruiters to strategize recruiting/onboarding approach. Manage and resolve employee relations matters, investigate when necessary, partner with the team to determine outcome/next steps, and resolve concerns/complaints in a consistent and timely fashion. Review and advise managers on disciplinary decisions/documents. Minimum Qualifications: Seven (7) years of experience as a Human Resources Business Partner, generalist, and/or specialist. Two (2) years of employee relations investigations. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or similar in a related field. PHR/SPHR and/or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP. Knowledge and Skills: Competency in employment law, national and local. Expertise in coaching, mediation, employee relations, group facilitation, and talent management.
