About the Role

This position is responsible for reviewing and adjudicating medical stop loss claims according to department standards. In this role you will be responsible for customer service, reporting statistical detail of claims volume and establishing financial risk associated with Stop Loss claims.

This position demands exceptional organizational and computer skills, along with the capability to work independently and solve problems effectively. The role entails adhering to established departmental protocols and seeking opportunities to enhance and improve processes.

About You

You thrive in an energizing environment with flexibility to handle multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of professionalism. You bring strong verbal and written communication skills and are adept at collaboration and teamwork.

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred, or equivalent experience, is desired but not required.
  • Knowledge of common medical terminology, diseases and their related risks
  • Possess a basic knowledge of Stop Loss Industry is preferred
  • Overall knowledge of healthcare industry
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to read, interpret and apply contract provisions
  • Excellent Excel and Word Skills
