Provide regular updates and reports to clients regarding case status and developments. Handle assignments independently with minimal supervision while maintaining strong attention to detail. Collaborate with colleagues on more complex cases and guide junior attorneys as needed. Requirements
7-12+ years of experience in insurance defense, with a focus on general liability and auto insurance. Proven track record of handling civil cases through trial, including depositions and oral arguments. Ability to work independently, managing cases and assignments with minimal supervision. Strong negotiation and settlement skills. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively report to clients and the legal team. Motivated, self-starter with the ability to manage a high caseload efficiently. Education
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications
Admission to the Florida Bar in good standing (required). Additional licensure in other states is a plus. Skills
Expertise in general liability and auto insurance defense litigation. Strong litigation skills, including trial preparation and courtroom appearances. Proficient in legal research and drafting documents. Ability to handle complex legal issues independently. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
