National firm seeks a motivated commercial/business litigation attorney to join their growing team!

We are currently seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and dedicated Litigation Attorney to join our esteemed legal team. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with a robust background in litigation, commercial, and business litigation. This role will involve handling complex legal matters, delivering high-quality legal advice, and representing clients in trials, mediations, and settlements. We are looking for a candidate who is a member of the California State Bar (w/MCLE hours) and able to work on-site at our offices in San Francisco.
Responsibilities:
Handle all aspects of litigation, including pre-trial preparation, trial, bench, and jury proceedings.
Represent clients in real estate and business litigation matters.
Conduct thorough legal research using Westlaw and other resources.
Manage mediations, settlements, and depositions effectively, ensuring the best possible outcomes for clients.
Draft pleadings, draft discovery, and other legal documents with precision and attention to detail.
Keep abreast of changes in laws and regulations that may affect the organization or its clients.
Provide legal advice and counsel to clients, ensuring their legal rights are protected.
Maintain professional growth and development through seminars, workshops, and professional affiliations to keep abreast of the latest developments in law and in the legal industry.
Qualifications:
JD from an accredited law school.
A minimum of 3-5+ years of experience as a litigation attorney.
Active membership with the California State Bar (w/MCLE hours).
Proficient in Westlaw/MS Office/Office 365.
Proven experience in commercial and business litigation.
Demonstrated experience in trial, bench, and jury proceedings.
Strong ability to draft pleadings, draft discovery, and other legal documents.
Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of successful mediations and settlements.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization and with clients.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex legal issues.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
High ethical standards and professionalism in all business dealings.
