Currently, we are searching to hire an
Accounting Head
who will oversee financial accounting operations to ensure accurate recording of transactions and compliance with accounting standards for CORE Innovations’ Group of Companies. Also, part of day-to-day will be to provide reliable financial information and strategic insights to support decision-making and optimize operational performance at Core Innovations Group of companies. During your day you will:
Prepare accurate financial statements such as P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements in compliance with accounting standards and regulations (Greek GAAP and IFRS). Supervise and review monthly-end closing process tasks (reconciliations, inventory tasks, GL, AP, AR, Fixed assets, IFRS, etc.) Oversee Group consolidation process of Financial Statements Oversee the tax provision process and ensure tax compliance Identify and implement process improvements in financial accounting procedures to optimize efficiency and accuracy. Lead the Accounting Team by providing mentorship and fostering professional growth to enhance team performance and accountability. Communicate financial results, analysis, and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders to support decision-making. Monitor cash flow and liquidity and make recommendations for improvements if needed. Review and advise regarding ERP system and reporting tools development Conduct research on new tax laws, regulations, and court rulings. Suggest improvements in financial reporting processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency. Indicate cost-saving opportunities and financial risk management strategies. What you need to stand out:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Economics, Finance, or Business Administration MBA or master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field would be considered a plus At least 8 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2–3 years in a supervisory role In-depth knowledge of IFRS, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards Expertise in developing and implementing accounting policies and procedures Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc). Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems for financial management. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, in Greek and English languages Strong problem-solving skills to address complex financial and operational challenges Analytical thinking ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic insights What gives us energy:
