Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Social Media Manager with a proven track record of managing and growing social media accounts, preferably in the automotive or luxury goods industries. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies that increase brand awareness, engage our audience, and drive customer acquisition for our classic car restoration business.

This role requires an individual who is highly creative, data-driven, and deeply knowledgeable about the latest trends in social media, particularly as they relate to the automotive industry and luxury brands. The Social Media Manager will manage day-to-day operations of all social media platforms, including content creation, community management, and performance analysis.

Responsibilities

Strategy Development: Create and implement a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with the company's marketing goals and business objectives. Ensure the strategy targets both classic car enthusiasts and potential clients.

Content Creation: Work with our talented in-house creative team to develop high-quality, engaging content (images, videos, graphics, and written posts) that showcases our car restoration projects, company culture, and industry expertise. Work closely with photographers, videographers, and designers as needed.

Platform Management: Manage daily operations of social media platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and LinkedIn. Schedule posts, monitor engagement, and respond to comments and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

Community Engagement: Build and nurture an online community of classic car enthusiasts and clients. Engage with followers, influencers, and industry leaders to foster positive relationships and promote brand advocacy.

Campaign Execution: Plan and execute social media campaigns to support product launches, marketing initiatives, and brand awareness. Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure campaigns align with broader company initiatives.

Analytics & Reporting: Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics using tools such as Google Analytics, Hootsuite, or MailChimp. Provide regular reports on KPIs, including engagement, growth, reach, and ROI, and adjust strategies based on performance data.

Influencer & Partnership Collaboration: Identify and manage relationships with relevant influencers, automotive bloggers, and partners to amplify social media campaigns and brand reach.

Trend Monitoring: Stay up-to-date on social media trends, platform updates, and best practices in the automotive and luxury industries. Ensure the company's social media strategy evolves with the changing digital landscape.

Brand Consistency: Maintain a consistent voice, tone, and visual identity across all social media channels that reflect the company's brand values and position in the classic car market.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience managing large, global social media accounts, with a strong preference for experience in the automotive or luxury goods industries.
  • Experience working with influencers, event planning, and public relations.
  • Proven track record of growing social media followings and increasing engagement on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube by paid and organic advertising.
  • Expertise in content creation, including photography, videography, and graphic design (knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite preferred).
  • Proficiency in social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, MailChimp, Google Analytics).
  • Strong copywriting and editing skills, with the ability to craft compelling and engaging content.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and organizational skills.
  • Passion for classic cars, automotive history, or restoration is a plus.
Physical Demands (to include but not limited to)
  • Primarily operates in a professional office setting, requiring extended periods of sitting at a desk, working on a computer, and attending meetings.
  • Ability to move around the office and occasionally travel to off-site locations such as photoshoots, client meetings, and industry events.
  • Strong vision (corrected if necessary) is required for reviewing design work, proofs, and other visual marketing materials.
  • Must have the ability to use a computer, including typing, using design software, and handling print materials.
  • Occasionally required to lift and carry materials, such as marketing samples, presentation boards, or equipment (up to 25 lbs).
  • Ability to travel domestically or internationally for marketing campaigns, events, or photoshoots, which may involve driving or flying.
  • Some duties may require visits to car restoration workshops, automotive shows, or event locations, which may involve standing, walking, or moving around for extended periods.
  • Flexibility to work irregular hours as needed during major campaigns or event deadlines.
