Position Summary:
The
Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
will serve as a key executive leader, overseeing Finance, IT, Purchasing, and HR to drive strategic and operational excellence across the organization. Reporting to the Vice President, the CFO will be a critical partner in shaping the company's future, ensuring financial strength, operational efficiency, and a high-performing, collaborative organizational culture. This role requires a dynamic, forward-thinking leader capable of navigating complex challenges in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Responsibilities: Financial Leadership:
Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company’s goals, ensuring sustainable growth and profitability. Team Management:
Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team, promoting a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement. Financial Planning & Analysis:
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes, providing insights to support strategic decision-making. Risk Management:
Identify and manage financial risks, ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies. Operational Collaboration:
Partner with other executives to develop operational strategies that enhance productivity and efficiency in manufacturing processes. Stakeholder Communication:
Effectively communicate financial performance and strategies to the CEO, Board of Directors, and other stakeholders. Cash Flow Management:
Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure operational needs are met and financial stability is maintained. Information Systems:
Oversee the IT function, ensuring systems and processes are aligned to support business goals, including ERP implementations, data security, and process automation. Technology Enablement:
Drive technological innovation to enhance decision-making and operational efficiencies. Purchasing & Supply Chain Leadership:
Oversee the procurement strategies to drive cost savings and mitigate risks and ensuring supply chain resilience HR Leadership:
Ensure compliance with labor laws and employment regulations, while fostering a strong employer brand. Stakeholder Relations:
Act as the primary liaison for financial communications with the Board of Directors, external auditors, and investors. Operational Excellence:
Drive performance management processes, using KPIs and metrics to assess progress and refine strategies. Qualifications
: Proven experience as a CFO or in a senior financial leadership role, preferably in the manufacturing industry. Strong understanding of financial regulations, corporate finance, and risk management practices. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic insights. Exceptional leadership and team-building abilities, with a track record of developing talent and fostering collaboration. Proficiency in financial management software and tools (e.g., ERP systems). Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or relevant certification (CPA, CFA) preferred. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
