Salary:
$235,000.00 - $365,000.00 per year Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Provide expert legal support and representation in environmental and land use litigation. Engage in in-depth drafting and critical review of legal documentation to support litigation and ensure regulatory compliance. Work closely with a team of seasoned attorneys to manage and strategize on complex environmental cases. Interpret and apply legislative, regulatory, and case law developments related to environmental and land use law. Advising clients on environmental liabilities, compliance strategies, and enforcement actions. Minimum Position Qualifications: JD from a top-tier law school with an exemplary academic record. Must be bar certified in California. A minimum of 2 years and up to 5 years of substantial experience in environmental law. Strong capability in drafting briefs, motions, and other complex legal documents. Proven ability to handle high-stakes legal matters in a collaborative team setting. Preferred Qualifications: Judicial clerkship experience, particularly in a related field. Experience in a top law firm or esteemed legal environment. Strong understanding of California environmental and land use law. Skills: Exceptional writing and analytic skills. Highly developed interpersonal and communication abilities.
