A law firm in New York City, NY, is seeking a skilled Commercial Real Estate Finance Associate Attorney. The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of hands-on experience with commercial real estate and mezzanine loans, and experience as a key member of deal teams managing transactions from due diligence through closing. Large law firm experience is strongly preferred. Duties:
Provide expert legal counsel on commercial real estate finance transactions, including commercial real estate loans and mezzanine loans. Manage key aspects of transactions from due diligence through to closing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal requirements. Draft and negotiate loan agreements, term sheets, and other transactional documents. Conduct comprehensive due diligence and review legal and financial documents to assess risks and ensure compliance. Collaborate with clients, lenders, and other stakeholders to facilitate transactions and address legal issues. Provide strategic advice on structuring and negotiating complex real estate finance deals. Assist in preparing and presenting materials for internal meetings and client briefings. Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations affecting commercial real estate finance. Requirements:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. 3-6 years of hands-on experience in commercial real estate finance. Proven experience as a key member of deal teams managing transactions from due diligence through closing. Large law firm experience strongly preferred. Strong understanding of commercial real estate and mezzanine loans. Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications:
Admission to the bar in New York, or eligibility to sit for the bar exam in New York. Skills:
