Responsibilities:
Acquisitions & Divestitures
Lead contract negotiations to ensure the profitable and timely completion of transactions.
Divestitures:
Prepare offering materials (e.g., Teasers and CIM) for the sale or financing of battery energy storage and solar PV assets. Oversee data rooms, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of project information.
Acquisitions:
Lead the due diligence process for projects under development, managing a cross-functional team to assess risk vs. return and project value. Support business development, project finance, and M&A activities by maintaining project and sponsor-level valuations.
Offtake Origination Manage the preparation and submission of high-quality proposals for new contracts, including PPAs, Build Transfer Agreements, and Tolling Agreements. Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, financial analysis) and external resources (consultants, advisors) to ensure accurate, timely, and competitive proposal submissions. Collaborate with the Sr. Financial Analyst to provide pricing recommendations with supporting assumptions and rationale. Lead contract negotiations for offtake agreements. Reporting Assist the Executive Vice President of Business Development in preparing weekly and monthly reports. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. MBA is preferred. Solar background. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the independent power, utility, or renewable energy industry. Recent experience in financial modeling, particularly with tax equity partnership flip transactions and battery energy storage projects (though not required).
