Event Assistant

to join our team and assist with the planning and execution of events. As an Event Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring that events run smoothly by providing logistical support, coordinating vendors, managing guest lists, and handling administrative tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in the event planning industry. Key Responsibilities: Event Planning Support:

Assist in the planning and coordination of events, including corporate meetings, conferences, weddings, parties, and other special occasions. Venue Setup:

Assist with event setups, ensuring all materials, equipment, and dcor are in place before the event begins. Vendor Coordination:

Liaise with vendors (caterers, decorators, photographers, etc.) to ensure timely deliveries and smooth operations during the event. Guest Management:

Assist with guest registration, handling inquiries, and ensuring a positive guest experience. Event Day Assistance:

Provide on-site support during events, assisting with any last-minute adjustments or requests from clients or event coordinators. Administrative Tasks:

Help with paperwork, contracts, and event-related documentation. Maintain accurate records of event logistics and schedules. Post-Event Support:

Help with the breakdown and clean-up after events, ensuring all equipment is returned, and venues are restored to their original condition. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or a related field (preferred). Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances. Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Basic knowledge of event planning software or tools (a plus).
