We are seeking a proactive, organized, and enthusiastic Event Assistant to support our event planning and execution team. The Event Assistant will assist with the logistical, administrative, and operational aspects of events, ensuring that all events run smoothly and are executed flawlessly. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities : Help manage event schedules, timelines, and logistics to ensure all aspects are on track and executed according to plan. Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and other event staff to ensure all materials and services are provided on time. Provide on-site assistance during events, ensuring smooth operation and addressing any issues that arise. Handle administrative tasks such as preparing event materials, maintaining guest lists, processing RSVPs, and managing registrations. Communicate with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure their needs are met. Assist with post-event activities, including collecting feedback, reviewing event performance, and helping with the reconciliation of event budgets. Manage event supplies, inventory, and stock, ensuring all items are in place for the event. Qualifications : High school diploma or equivalent (college degree in hospitality, event planning, or related field is a plus). Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of event management software and tools is a plus. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Ability to stay calm and solution-oriented under pressure.
