Position Summary Establishing and researching projects and/or laws that will affect the student body. Lobbying before any necessary government agent or agency. The Director is required to ensure that the Committee complies with all pertinent laws concerning registration of lobbyists and reports of lobbying expenditure and activities. Organizing and overseeing committee meetings.
Minimum Qualifications
Enrolled in a degree seeking program at UNM, Enrolled at least half-time (6 hours) at UNM for fall and spring semesters (Audit hours do not count), and if Work Study, you must meet Satisfactory Academic Progress.
Preferred Qualifications
Must be an undergraduate student enrolled in at least 6 hours and with a 2.0 cumulative GPA.
Must be appointed by the ASUNM President and confirmed by the Senate.
