Pavion and our family of companies is seeking a talented and motivated Finance Ops Controller I to join our corporate team. Primary Responsibilities: Analyze and prepare timely and accurate financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Develop and monitor key financial metrics to assess the company's financial health and performance. Ensure accurate and timely completion of financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
Develop annual operating budgets and long-term financial forecasts. Monitor actual performance against budgeted targets, identify and report on variances. Make recommendations for targets, budgets and cost-saving measures to senior management.
Conduct financial analysis, interpret financial data, and provide insights to senior management on financial performance, trends and opportunities. Make recommendations to support strategic planning, investment decisions, and business growth initiatives. Monitor cash flow and liquidity positions, ensuring adequate working capital to support ongoing operations and growth.
Develop and implement financial control procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and accounting standards. Oversee the internal control environment and conduct periodic audits to identify and mitigate financial risks.
Conduct financial analysis for potential mergers, acquisitions, or partnerships, including due diligence and financial modeling. Assess the financial implications of new business opportunities and provide recommendations on their viability and profitability.
Other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.
10+ years' experience in financial analysis, financial planning, financial controls.
Preferred Qualifications: Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
Certified Management Accountant (CMA).
