The Veteran & Military Affairs department is currently seeking a student to join their team of professionals. Duties to include: Coordinate and schedule social media posts; includes identifying opportunities, drafting copy, using appropriate related images, taking photos/video, etc. Design email marketing material including content creation, editing, and distribution via MailChimp. Asist in tracking and maintaining reports on social media and email statistics and other reports as necessary. Assist in implementing marketing strategies and action plans for the Office of Veteran & Military Affairs. Keep up-to-date with new social media platforms and best practices. Design and distribute marketing materials for events. Contact FIU News and Panther Now to secure coverage of events. Monitors timely delivery of flyers, banners, brochures and other marketing materials with vendors. Assists with events as needed. Evening hours might be required at times. Job Category

Minimum Qualifications: At least 2 semesters of FIU work experience orrelated experience outside the University Who May Apply

Students enrolled at FIU, who have been awarded Federal Work Study (FWS) as part of their Financial Aid Award package. Student must be enrolled with a minimum of six (6) credit hours in a course of study leading to a degree or a Financial Aid eligible certificate, during Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters. Upon credits decreasing, award being canceled, or graduating, FWS employment must end.
