We are seeking a results-driven and strategic Business Development Center Manager to oversee our business development team and drive the success of our operations.
Job Summary:
The Business Development Center Manager will be responsible for managing, coaching, and motivating a team of Business Development Representatives (BDRs) to achieve and exceed sales and customer service goals. This role requires a leader who can implement effective strategies, maintain strong relationships with customers, and collaborate with other departments to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and mentor a team of BDRs to meet or exceed performance goals, including lead generation, appointment setting, and customer follow-up.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the business development team.
- Monitor and analyze team performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and success.
- Ensure all customer inquiries, leads, and follow-ups are handled promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and service teams to align goals and ensure consistent messaging.
- Train and onboard new team members, providing ongoing professional development and support.
- Utilize CRM tools to track team activities, manage customer data, and generate reports for leadership.
- Maintain a customer-first approach, ensuring an exceptional experience for all clients.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to inform strategies.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a leadership role, preferably in a business development, sales, or customer service environment within the automotive industry.
- Strong understanding of automotive sales and customer service processes.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Our organization utilizes DealerSocket CRM.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in business or a related field preferred.
