Job Title: Assembler Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assembler to join our team. You will be responsible for the preparation, assembly, and sub-assembly of our environmental monitoring and remediation equipment, specifically air-powered submersible pumping systems for groundwater sampling, groundwater remediation, and landfill liquids. Pay: $17-18 based on experience. Shift: 1st Responsibilities Load and unload materials and select parts based on bill of materials. Perform repetitive lifting up to 35 pounds unassisted and organize materials in the warehouse. Read inventory codes and organize items based on inventory. Follow specific work orders and pull parts from inventory accordingly. Organize the stock room efficiently. Follow standard operating procedures within the manufacturing area. Use hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, sockets, and ratchets for assembly. Work with piping tools for bending and assembling, including pipe and tube cutters, drain cleaning tools, and repairing and joining tools. Cut and splice piping products prior to assembly. Assemble various sizes of PVC pipes. Use power tools such as drills and sanders. Essential Skills 1+ year of manufacturing production experience including material handling, assembly, forklift, and machine operation. Ability to read basic work instructions. Mechanical inclination with basic mechanical experience, including the use of hand tools such as screwdrivers and hammers. Ability to lift 30+ lbs unassisted. Ownership and wearing of steel toe boots. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with piping tools such as pipe and tube cutters, drain cleaning tools, and repairing and joining tools. Work Environment You will be working 100% of the time in the warehouse/assembly designated area, which is temperature controlled. The role requires lifting up to 30 pounds unassisted. The standard shift is from 7:00am to 3:30pm. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dexter, Michig Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
