As an associate, you ensure data governance standards are met and maintain high quality and interoperability of Data Products in the Enterprise Data Catalog. You will also support technical and business partners and assist the Data Governance team in finding innovative solutions for new data capabilities at CPP Investments. Role-Specific Accountabilities: An excellent role for someone who enjoys working with different teams, building relationships, providing consultation to identify, analyze, and resolve issues, as well as providing training and demos to help spread data quality benefits across the organization. Provide consults to business and technology teams on data quality rule design and implementation. Meet with business partners on a regular basis to foster good working relationships, understand their data quality needs and issues, and work with technology teams on solutions. Design data quality dashboard to showcase metrics, trends, and exceptions. Work with the team to develop data quality standards for internal and external datasets. Partner with data project leads, business analysts, and business partners to analyze data requirements and provide recommendations on data quality metrics, data quality rule design, and data model design. Ensure new data quality enhancements address immediate business needs and are in alignment with data strategy. Qualifications: Experience in data governance, including metadata management, data quality, ownership, and reporting. Experience in working with a diverse set of stakeholders to drive positive outcomes. Experience in project management and consulting. Experience working with SQL and Python. Experience working with data visualization tools such as Tableau and Quicksight. Experience working with AWS services such as Glue and Athena. Experience working with financial market data such as indexes, economics, corporate actions, etc. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work individually as well as in a team environment. Knowledge in data lifecycle, including data modeling design, metadata, and data quality. Commitment to CPP Investment’s guiding principles of integrity, partnership, and high performance. Graduate or undergraduate degree in business and finance or other quantitative discipline.
