We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Receptionist in RIVERHEAD, New York. This role revolves around providing excellent front desk services in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
• Handling incoming calls, expected to be around 25-50 per day
• Warmly welcoming and directing clients upon their arrival
• Performing clerical duties such as scanning, copying, and data entry
• Receiving, sorting and distributing incoming mail
• Operating the mail machine for sending out correspondence
• Keeping client files organized and up-to-date
• Utilizing Office Suite and Netsuite for various administrative tasks• Demonstrate strong knowledge and experience in Receptionist Duties, including managing incoming calls, greeting visitors, and scheduling appointments.
• Exhibit substantial ability in performing Clerical Duties such as handling mail, filing documents, managing office supplies, and maintaining records.
• Display exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients and staff.
• Show excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Demonstrate proficiency in using office equipment such as photocopiers, printers, and fax machines.
• Possess foundational knowledge in using office software like Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Maintain a detail-oriented appearance and demeanor to represent the company positively.
• Show a high level of customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction.
• Exhibit strong problem-solving skills to address any issues that may arise promptly and effectively.
• Be able to work independently as well as part of a team, showing initiative and self-motivation.
• Must be reliable and punctual, demonstrating a strong work ethic and commitment to the role.
• Possess at least a high school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience in a similar role is preferred.
• Be willing to participate in continuous learning and training opportunities to stay updated with industry developments.
