We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an HR Recruiter in the haulage industry, based in Norfolk, Virginia. As an HR Recruiter, you will be tasked with sourcing candidates, managing employer branding initiatives, and full-cycle recruiting.
Responsibilities:
• Source candidates using various platforms, job boards, and social media channels
• Conduct phone screening and schedule interviews for prospective candidates
• Manage employer branding initiatives to attract high-quality candidates
• Oversee full-cycle recruiting to ensure smooth and efficient hiring process
• Utilize ADP Workforce Now and other HRIS systems for managing talent acquisition
• Maintain strong relationships with candidates, internal teams, and external partners
• Monitor and adhere to all labor regulations and fair employment practices
• Utilize analytical and problem-solving skills to address recruitment challenges
• Utilize communication skills to ensure clear and efficient dialogue with candidates and team members
• Use Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office Suite tools for efficient task management and reporting.

• Previous role as an HR Recruiter or similar HR roles
• Experience using Careerbuilder, LinkedIn Recruiter
• Proficiency in CRM (Customer Relationship Management)
• Experience with Applicant Track System
• Ability to conduct Background Checks
• Understanding of Benefit Functions
• Excellent Communication skills
