We are seeking a committed Human Resources (HR) Manager to join our team in New York. In this role, you will manage orientations for new employees, ensure compliance with labor standards, and participate in recruitment processes. This job provides a contract to permanent employment opportunity, where you will be tasked with managing and maintaining employee records, contributing to investigations, and aiding with payroll processes.
Responsibilities:
• Leading and conducting orientations for new employees
• Streamlining the recruitment process through job postings
• Ensuring the organization's adherence to labor standards
• Assisting in investigations related to employee issues
• Keeping and managing employee records
• Aiding with payroll processes
• Supervising the reporting of Affordable Care Act (ACA) compliance
• Managing employee conversations and discussions
• Utilizing software like Paycom, ADP and others for various HR functions
• Applying your industry experience in a unionized NYC Hotel environment to manage HR functions efficiently
• Overseeing the hiring processes and employee relations in the organization
• Leveraging your skills in Hotel management and Employee Relations Investigations.• Position: Human Resources (HR) Manager
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
• Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now
• Knowledge of ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode
• Familiarity with Ceridian software
• Understanding of HCM (Human Capital Management)
• Ability to handle Benefit Functions
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong understanding of Compliance requirements in HR
• Experience in Employee Relations
• Familiarity with Hiring Processes
• Experience with Paycom software
• Background in Hotel Management would be beneficial
• Experience in Employee Relations Investigations is a must
