We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for an Accounting Specialist at our location. In this role, you will be tasked with a variety of accounting duties, including processing accounts payable, assisting with payroll, and maintaining records for employees paid on an hourly basis.
Responsibilities:
• Overseeing accounts payable processing and credit card reconciliations to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Assisting with the processing of payroll, ensuring all payments are made in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Performing account reconciliations and follow-ups, ensuring all discrepancies are identified and resolved in a timely manner.
• Handling the recordkeeping for employees paid on an hourly basis, including onboarding, orientation, and benefits administration.
• Coordinating travel arrangements for employees, including booking tickets, hotels, and rental cars, and managing expense reporting.
• Processing sales orders and project change orders into the accounting software.
• Assisting with the creation of journal entries as needed.
• Utilizing various software systems for accounting functions, including Acumatica and Office Suite.• Candidate should possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in the role of Accounting Specialist or a similar role.
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is mandatory.
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is required.
• Candidate should have a comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions.
• Knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) is necessary.
• Experience in handling Payroll is a must.
• Candidate should have skills in Credit Card Reconciliation.
• Familiarity with Account Reconciliation is required.
• Working knowledge of Acumatica is an added advantage.
• Proficiency in Office Software is essential.
