Our client is an organization in the Milwaukee area looking for an Accounting Manager. Our client is looking for someone with 8+ years of experience, organized, and has excellent leadership skills. This is a highly profitable company that offers a collaborative team and flexibility. This position is hybrid.

The salary for this position is $120k - $130k.

The Accounting Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and develop the General Ledger accounting team.
  • Establish and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Oversee the general ledger reconciliation process to ensure accuracy.
  • Coordinate and support the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts, conducting financial and business analysis as needed.
  • Train the accounting team and support end-user adoption of the new ERP System.
  • Serve as a key contributor for year-end financial analysis, reporting, and coordination of the annual audit with external auditors.
  • Assist with special projects as needed.
The Accounting Manager will possess the following:

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. MBA preferred.
  • CPA/CMA highly preferred.
  • 8+ years of related experience, with 4 years of managerial/supervisory experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset.
