The Job

Recruitment Coordinator

We're looking for an energetic and motivated teammate to assist in facilitating the movement of candidates through the recruitment process while also performing administrative and interactive duties related to recruiting candidates across Relay's social enterprises. This includes candidate correspondence as well as fielding general inquiries from job seekers.

Requirements

What you'll do
  • Draft, publish and update sponsored and unsponsored job postings on career websites and external sourcing websites/job boards at the direction of the Talent Acquisition Manager
  • Create Relay ID badges for all new hires and transfers
  • Coordinate and confirm start date with New Hires before their scheduled start date
  • Perform additional responsibilities and provide coverage for Recruiters as needed
  • Serve as the primary employment liaison for jobseekers, both in-person and via phone, to help complete applications, discuss job openings, and provide general information about working at Relay
  • Route potential candidates to Employment Program Specialist or Recruitment Specialist
  • Schedule interviews for hiring managers and interview panels, including reserving conference rooms, and sharing application and phone screen information from Applicant Tracking System with the interviewers as applicable
  • Communicate candidate resource needs to Employee Resource Specialist as candidates enter the pre-employment stage of the recruitment life cycle
  • Collaborate with A&C Coordinator as needed to assist in AbilityOne candidate information needs
  • Attend job fairs and community partner events as assigned by Employment Program Manager
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Minimum of 2 years People Operations and/or staffing experience
  • Proficient in technology including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point); experience using ATS/HRIS systems is preferred
  • Experience working in team environment and ability to collaborate is essential
  • Extremely detail-oriented; able to manage and organize a large volume of tasks and manage time appropriately
  • Experience working with at-risk populations, including adults who have disabilities
  • Experience or desire to work in a human/social services field, human resources, or other related field
  • Strong interpersonal skills required; ability to communicate with a diverse population
  • Experience composing business correspondence
  • Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with a diverse population
  • Ability to follow through on tasks and projects to completion
  • ASL and/or foreign language skills fluency desired
  • Ability to prioritize and re-prioritize on short notice
  • Excellent communication skills including written, verbal and listening
  • Ability to pass criminal history background check as appropriate at any time during employment.
