Job Description

Job Title: HR Specialist
Location: Arkadelphia, AR
Duration: 9-month Contract
Work Type: Onsite

Description:

We're seeking a detail-oriented HR Specialist to join our dynamic team and ensure the smooth operation of all HR functions. You'll play a key role in employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, training, and compliance.

Responsibilities:

Recruitment & Onboarding: Craft compelling job descriptions, manage offer letters, coordinate pre-employment activities, onboard new hires, and maintain OFCCP compliance.
HR Reporting & Administration: Generate reports, manage employee records, and coordinate documents for job changes and status updates.
Training & Development: Plan, coordinate, and deliver HR and safety training programs aligned with OSHA regulations and company policies.
Employee Relations: Maintain accurate employee documentation, assist with employee concerns, and foster a positive work environment.
Compliance & Safety: Conduct new hire orientations, ensure compliance with company policies and CBAs, and participate in safety initiatives.
Other Duties: Assist the HR Business Partner with community engagement and corporate initiatives, and perform additional assigned tasks.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred)
3+ years of HR experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of HR concepts, practices, and procedures
Proficiency in Google Suite and HRIS systems (Workday, ATS, ADP, etc.)
Familiarity with OSHA regulations and manufacturing environments
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to prioritize, manage time effectively, and maintain confidentiality
Strong written and verbal communication skills for clear communication across all levels
