We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an HR Generalist in the Healthcare/NHS industry based in St Louis Park, Minnesota. The role necessitates a hands-on approach to a variety of HR functions, primarily focused on employee relations, leave management, and system administration.
Responsibilities:
• Conducting day-to-day HR operations to ensure smooth functioning.
• Assisting with the onboarding process to facilitate new hires' seamless integration.
• Collaborating with managers to optimize the use of the UKG/WFM system.
• Handling Employee Relations responsibilities, including Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) and escalating issues when necessary.
• Ensuring meticulous documentation of employee relations issues.
• Overseeing the management of Leaves of Absence and FMLA.
• Managing the workflow predominantly through the ticketing system in UKG.
• Providing HR support to various sectors including home health, hospice, and clinics.
• Demonstrating adaptability and versatility in providing HR support as required.
• Utilizing UKG PRO for payroll and record keeping, and preparing for the transition to UKG WFM.• Minimum of 7 years of experience working in a HR Generalist role or similar within the Healthcare/NHS industry
• Proficiency in managing Benefit Functions, including administration, enrolment, and employee education
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively interface with all levels of employees and management
• Extensive knowledge and experience in ensuring Compliance with healthcare regulations and laws
• Proven track record in managing Employee Relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance management
• Familiarity with the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and its application in the workplace
• Experience in using UKG Pro for HR management and operations
• Proven experience in conducting Employee Relations Investigations, including grievance handling and disciplinary procedures
